*gets kaftan and tambourine out.....

The littlest worm
I ever saw
was stuck inside
my soda straw.
everyone: The littlest worm I ever saw, was stuck inside my soda straw.

I took a sip
and he went down
right through my pipes
He'll surely drown.
everyone: I took a sip and he went down, right through my pipes he'll surely drown.

I burped him up
and he was dead.
I buried him
in a flower bed.
everyone: I burped him up and he was dead. I buried him in a flower bed.

He was my pal,
He was my friend
and now he's gone
and now he's dead.
everyone: He was my pal, he was my friend and now he's gone and now he's dead.

CAMPFIRE IS BURNING

Campfire is burning,
Campfire is burning?
Draw nearer,
Draw nearer,
In the gloaming,
In the gloaming,
Come sing and be merry,
Come sing and be merry.
(Often sung as a round)

WORMS

Nobody likes me.
Everybody hates me.
Think I'm gonna eat worms

Chorus:
Long, slim, slimy ones;
Short, fat, juicy ones;
Itsy--bitsy, fuzzy--wuzzy worms.

First you get a bucket,
Then you get a shovel.
Oh, how they wiggle and squirm.

(chorus)

First you pull their heads off.
Then you suck their guts out.
Oh, how they wiggle and squirm.

(chorus)

Down goes the first one;
Down goes the second one.
Oh, how they wiggle and squirm.

(chorus)

Up comes the first one.
Up comes the second one.
Oh, how they wiggle and squirm.

(chorus)

*scratches feet at thought of yak wool touching such delicate and dainty plates of meat*

*drags on spare duvets, microwaveable slippers (please don't try to walk in them, cos you'll fall over) various fleecy throws, nicks the cats favourite blankets, digs out selection of woolly hats and earmuffs and scatters them around thread*

There you go... now, who has the two sticks to rub together to start the campfire.... who has the marshmallows to toast... and can anyone remember any CLEAN campfire songs???
