Morning Sue and everyone else

Thanks for the tea, just had one made by hubby too.

France was lovely. Really good drive to Folkestone and straight over through the Tunnel. Good weather all day, sunny, warm and dry not too hot. Got some wine, hope it was a bargain as I drink little so mainly for hubby and visitors or when visiting. The euro has clobbered any real savings as it's little more than 1 for 1. Had a lovely meal with our friends in Boulogne. Then a drive back along the coast and finally a walk along the sea front and huge sandy beaches at Calais. Back home another good drive. A couple of beers for the men and then droping our friends off and just read through my e-mails before off to bed again.

Have another dentists appointment tomorrow(Friday) before my dentist goes away himself. Still hurting thoughnot agony.

Good to see you back Marilyn, hope you slept well, but know from experience it will take a few days before your body clock adjusts back.

Shelly think it is today you will have the children? Hope all goes off OK, as well as it can for such things.

Morning Lady and Pauline and Rita, good to see your hospital appointment was OK did you get the mammogram results? Are you around Shimms and Angela.

A good day for everyone and hoping it's not too wet.

Off to take hubby's car for a safety check soon, borrowing a Jaguar XF so not sure where we will go or how long for.

Morning all

No linda I got all the results. Cat's scan. Mri. Mamograme and another not sure what it is called I had to drink Aniseed and Orange juice then had a scan they were all clear. I then was asked to have a Breast Ultra scan but they were not in my big file of records he told me not to worry if there had been anything they would have informed me that was done 5 weeks ago.. but I dont trust some of these replies I get they could just have gone missing. he told me they should be there next time I go on 18th
so we will see.
It is a funny day today not sure what to do. I hope it stays dry while I do my shopping. I dont fancy getting soaking wet.

Just got up.........not really here yet !

Its a bit better day today than yesterday....just put washing on ,don't know where its come from because I washed everything before I came Home !!

Rita glad your results are good.....I'm sure you would have heard by letter if your breast scan was not good....don't worry !

Marilyn have you got a dryer or do you have to hang your washing out on the line. because the forcate is not very good it started to rain when I went out to do my shopping the sky was black so I put my mac on and it stopped then the sun came out so I was sweating like mad pulling my trolley along to get home.

when I was in Devon the hotel my sister and I stayed in has a coach of their own and collects people from up north and brings them to the hotel and they do outing during the week not very dear £5 they did a free one to Plymouth we didnt go as we had arranged to go to Totones which we enjoyed it is a little market town on the river Dart but the hills I could not beleive it. but I managed .

Good after noon all been bizzy today

linda its next tuesday i have got the children its this week for the wedding i thought the wedding was next week but i was rong on that one

the good new is the girls mother is still atending the wedding the hole family was ment to go even my daughter but as their is still lots to do for the funral and still up set thay have given it a miss

but my daughter told the mother to go as it will give her a brack from the little ones and may do her some good to get away from every think and take her mind of this . not that it will but she will also be way for the night so just hope it will do her good

I'm glad the mother's going to the wedding Shelly, I hope it helps her a little bit. It'll give her something else to think of for a while.

Rita it sounds like you really enjoyed your holiday. How was your leg (and your foot) while you were away?

Linda does it take long to get through the tunnel? Glad you had a good day.

Did you get your washing dry Marilyn? We only had rain once today, it came down just as I was going back to the car after visiting my sister......it waited for me!!

Are your staff on holiday this week Sue or do they start next week?

Its been Sunny all day here ,I went to the Garden center and I bought some real bargains of plants all reduced , I don't know where I'm going to put them, but I only bought them because the were reduced !!

Dont feel like planting them until my jet lagged has gone....so they will have to stay in their pots .

Shelly how are the funeral arrangements going ? is she going to have a Mass said ?

I did get nearly to the top my sister did it she took some photo's. I loved the holiday I did so much saw so much as well I used my walking stick a fold up one a friend got me from a charity shop Pauline I would not have done so much without it. I took lots of photos near where we were staying was a hot air balloon I only saw it go up twice all the time I was there and it didnt go that far as it was attached to the ground by wires.
are you feeling any better Sue ? Linda have you had a holiday this year yet. ?
I am going to stay with my daughter in september for a week she is taking the week off as part of her holiday. then I am going to my sisters for a week. I have to fit everything in around hospitals. my next appointment is a bit of a worry as my son is on holiday in Greece so I now have to find a way of getting to Guilford from Woking. the trouble is when I get there I can be there for as long as two or three hours. O well I have four weeks to think of somthing

the catholick only come on her mum side she is being creamated and the ashes are being taken home i thought she would of gone in the family phyimid but she is not

Pauline ~ I don't go on Holiday, having been in farming for many years, we couldn't take a herd of cows on hols & haveing 6 dogs now, we don't go away.

Back home again. Only had the car a couple of hours. Recall was all clear, but they renewed the discs and rear breaks, loads a money?

Back home for lunch, then packe3d a flask and drove down to The New Forest, only an hour away. Had a walk round Lyndhurst and then a little walk on the open "plains". Sat in the sun and read, but it was a bit breezy. Found a pub/ restaurant we've eaten in in the past and had a lovely meal. Not been home very long.

Off to the dentist tomorrow after lunch also have the cocker spaniel for our son until saturday morning. Might go to a steam rally at Netley sat or Sun.

Pauline it is only 35 mins from Folkestone to Calais......................... so very quick. Sue I am always sea sick so this suits me and you just sit in your own car. It goes so fast.

Rita my hubby and I are away a fair bit. Comes of working for an airline I guess. We went to Barbados for 10 days in March/ our winter warmer. Then we had 10 days in Cyprus in May, after the problems with my parents.
My husband is off without pay just now / to help BA????? He has 2 weeks off, but don't think we will actually go away hence the days out, also I don't have any childminding right now.
