We've just had a hail storm, it was bouncing off the ground a foot high. The lawn was so white it was like Christmas. It melted after a couple of minutes though because the ground was that hot.

It's torrential rain now and the garden is flooded, I left my trainers on the step and they're full of water. We've had some very strange weather this week.

I am sorry I didnt think you noticed me. I will do as you tell me. I had tea and a jam sandwich dont ask me why jam I just fancied one .

I have no lid for my bucket so I dont want to trip and go into that now do I ?????

I use the stick to go to the Loo and I am all on the ground floor which makes it easier.

I had to do a full scan on my computer as I lost all me emails whoosh they went it appears I have a fault on the Emails my son is trying to sort it out for me good job I printed Sues Dog and Horses. I also took some prints of my daughter new

I have to have a tan, Shelly it goes with my image ....LOL

But I'll tel you what its Bl**DY hot out here ..!

Just come in to cool off and get the dinner ready, hubby starving AGAIN ..

Kids gone Disney with son & Daughter -in-law, just grabbing a bit of peace ..
Sheer bliss.....not for long...they will be back hollering and screaming .

Morning all

Had a great day at the steam rally yesterday. Weather remained dry and actually caught more sun than I realised. Thought I'd reached my limit but definately have more of a glow this morning.

Went back to hubby's brother's after and had tea there.

Yes it does feel like open house sometimes here. But now we have the room why not. So used to having a houseful, the three children have all left home and buying their own now. Had English language students when they were young too(helped to make ends meet) more recently the childminding, but that seems to be coming to a finish now. Might end up downsizing.

Have managed to find hubby's cousins husband's family through IGI and census. Started in Hastings Sussex about 1591 for the earliest one, some trees on Ancestry seem to have the same names too. Thus to the census. Left England for South Africa in about 1850 and their family came back to England about 1960(found on the passenger lists).

Got the washing on , hope to get sheets dry before it is supposed to rain. But this continuing dry weather means I am spending a lot of time watering still.
