Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 14,151 Send Message	This is it lol Hands up any of you whos home features in the list. i find it hard to believe that Bristol, my home town doesnt figure . It's official -- the North West is the drunkest region of England. Seven out of the top 10 areas most affected by excessive drinking are in the North West, according to a new survey. Manchester has the dubious honour of coming top of the list, with the highest level of harm from alcohol across a range of factors such as hospital admissions caused by drinking, lives cut short and crimes related to alcohol. Other regions highlighted by the report for their drinking problems include Salford, Liverpool, Middlesborough and Rochdale, followed by Hammersmith and Fulham in London, Hull, Halton, Tameside and Oldham.
