Oh thank you Tony for sharing Josh Groban in Chess with me, I adore his voice, have never seen Chess hun.

Stars- Les Miserables- Javert by Philip Quast, so enjoyed. Was enrapt not only by his voice, the words but the quality of his acting.
I can see why tis your favourite from Les Miserables.

I so love it here, sharing, ..... getting to swatch Musicals I may not even have heard of, such voices.

Off to find another, one recommended by a friend.

Having never seen Phantom Tony, that was the best clip I've ever seen hun.

Gosh, he had me spellbound ... who was the young girl, think I caught the name Charlotte, didn't look like Charlotte Church, a longer name I think. Such a voice for someone so young.

Huia Report 15 Dec 2008 18:42

I have bookmarked this as I am off out soon for the day and my final Tues night choir practice.
I have sung some of the songs mentioned in some of our concerts (one based on musical shows, another on operas). I have even (says she modestly) sung with Kiri Te Kanawa. There were about 700 other people also singing with her but they dont count.
Must dash now.
Huia.

ShimmsRedRoseAndMistletoe Report 15 Dec 2008 19:05

Oh bless you Huia :))

How lovely to have you here with us, sharing your precious memories, bookmarking this thread which I must say I so adore.

I love Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, and you know ... the other 700 don't count! Catherine Jenkins is one of my favourites, have only recently discovered her voice, do you like her too?

Speak soon honey, enjoy your final Tuesday night choir practice.
