I am so sorry to learn of your sudden loss, and you and your family are in my thoughts.

Although I never met your mum, I am one of the many she helped on GR. I hope you get some comfort in seeing how much she was appreciated here, by looking at the many posts.

What can I say ........ I have been in touch with your Mother many, many times over the last few years, she had e.mailed me a couple of weeks ago to tell me about her condition, and I knew she was in pain , but even then she was her wonderful cheerful self, and being the selfless person she was she wanted to let others know why she had not replied to them.
I to find it hard to believe this news, the world has lost a wonderful kind generous lady ............

God Bless you Bernice, you will be sadly missed by all those whose lives you have touched.

I didn't know Bernice but she was obviously a very special lady who was loved by all who knew her. My prayers, love and thoughts are with her family and friends and all who knew her. The world is going to be a sadder place without her.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news. Your mum was a truly kind helpful and selfless person who helped me enormously with locating my birth mother recently. When I received the sad news that she had passed away, Bernice's contact did not waver, she was concerned at how I was feeling and how I was dealing with things. This special lady was so sincere and empathetic I too feel that each and every person that she has helped over the years will truly feel her loss.

RIP sweet lady.
