My favourite....

Once in royal Davids city,
Stood a lowly cattle shed,
Where a mother laid her Baby,
In a manger for His bed:
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ, her little Child.

He came down to earth from heaven,
Who is God and Lord of all,
And His shelter was a stable,

Oh Taff! That's one that we play. A great piece for us on the trombones as we can really jazz it up and 'get our teeth' into it! Excuse the pun. lol

He's not trying to as far as I can see Taff.
Part of the fun of Christmas Carols is hearing kids sing the wrong words to them, sometimes deliberately sometimes due to a mishearing. It's good to be reminded of them.
