Ann so sorry to hear about your Mom and do hope she continues without pain. If the morphine stops working then they can use Diamorphine or Fentanyl patches (replace patches every 72 hours). |

So glad your Mum got such pleasure from the dog's visit and is sounding much chirpier. Hope this can continue and she manages to get some enjoyment out of life again. |

It's very hard to get a happy medium with visiting folk in hospital, but lovely that people care enough to visit, maybe you will have to get them to call you and ask first how many people are going in. |

Yesterday there was a Christmas Fair at the hospice and mum being mum did too much! she was fine when I left her last night, but had a bit of an upset and collapsed last night, her "old" doctor had her on blood pressure reducing tablets and her blood pressure is dangerously low, and she has to be weaned off them,she is getting there, but she did too much yesterday,she wanted to support the hospice, as it relies on donations! |
