Hello all we are in Queensland at a place called Scarborough and the weather is starting to get better the rain came back for few hours on Monday afternoon but lovely sunny day today. Things are pretty bad here for my daughter and her husband of 18 months so am not doing real well myself as its very stressful and I don't do stress too well. Just know I am thinking of you all and Especially Merle and Lew but can't really write much so just wanted to say G'Day and send my best will be back when I feel better >

Big hugs for you Merle and all the best for tomorrow. Sorry to hear about Casey - our pets really do become part of the family and are missed just as badly. Glad to hear the knee is going okay - just don't damage it when you kick that black dog out the door.
Marie - hope the grandies are on the road to recovery especially with a birthday party coming up.
Nearly bedtime so I'll wish you all a good night and catch up another time

Evening.....:>))
Thought i better pop me head in the door and say G'day.
Thanks for the birthday wishes.( 14th June ) Its great to be 21 again..!!! Well.....to be honest, i did have to get my grandson to help me blow the candles out, but after a few goes we managed to get them all out before they rang the fire brigade.....hee hee
Have hung the Family History research on the back shelf for a rest at the moment , as there is so much happening and going on in our house lately. I have the Oil paints out, and madly painting Ozzie landscapes one day..........then the next day after work its out in the boys shed knocking up furniture ( New low line Tele, DVD, and V.H.S ) cabinet combined for our family room.............. then me 3rd Cousin in Essex England emails me, and tells me they need 21 days accomodation when they land on Aussie soil at the end of Aug, and can we lend them a bed to put there head at night.......so Barb ( other alf ) says ya better re-furbish bedroom number two,( Paint walls, ceiling and re-carpet ) and re-do the ensuite,( re- grout the tiles and new shower head ) so they can have their own shower and vanity...................then Barb tells me ( surprise for me birthday ) we are off to Phuket, Thailand for 10 days next month, so i better start saving me pocket money.........In the mean time the creeping ivy on our fence line has gone beserk and sticking out across the footpath, so the local council sent me a.... "Must cut back letter "...thank you. Some little mongrel kids nicked our mail/lettter box and snapped it straight off the post, so looks like a new letter box to rehang as well.
O'h...well. I guess it keeps me busy and out of the pubs.....lol
Best wishes to all

evening all,
hope you are all well....
life is very busy at the moment, espically with Anne in Iona.
In fact its been the week from hell, stepson lost his job, my ex died (felicity's dad) and they NZ police had to track her down and tell her aat school about the death, then it turned out that he had remarried (again!!) and the wife wanted to commiserate with me about the saddnes of his death, while we were celebraing it.... (s0rry if that sounds callous but he was a right royal bastard) , then the council sent us the objections form our neighbours about the house....oh and finally another half sister to floss had appeared, that makes 2 half sister and 2 half brothers somewhere...... so the chocolate consumption has been alittle extreme......
anyway............smile and wave boys smile and wave...............
hope everyone else is well and lost of positive vibes to Lew...
Love June x

Hello again everyone, I think I missed a couple of birthdays, so Happy Belated Wishes to Tony and Sandra. Depths of winter here at last although the mornings are lighter already now we are past 21 June. The mountains an hour away have had a lot of snow and as the school holidays are on, it is very welcome for tourism. We had a good lot of rain this past week, but the water storages down south here really need a lot more. I am pleased to be contacted by my first cousin who wants to do some family history, she is wanting to collate all the old photos, which is excellent, and she has access to all my Dad’s, so I am helping in her work out who is who, because I know more about the older rellies from listening to Dad over the years. My Darling Daughter ( 17 years and 11 months) is out to an 18th Birthday party tonight, young man with enormous 4wheel drive collected her and another classmate at 2pm for a three hour drive up the mountains to girlfriends parents place. Lots are going and they are all sleeping over, the theme is “ Oh My G(oodness), What Are You Wearing!”. Some are wearing pink fishnets, some have bodices laced with fluoro orange elastic, some have four inch platform boots, tulle skirts, hair that defies gravity …………won’t reveal who is wearing what but I’m busting to see some photos, bet I’m not allowed though!! I will be happy once they are home again tomorrow night. Off to get tea on the table for the old folks left at home ! We will probably retire early lol ! June I do hope your difficulties are gradually being sorted out. Pearl the girl, big hugs, ~~ to Lara, Sandra, Tones, Gwenda, Marie (bet it’s cold where you are!), Mary, you will quickly master the slow cooker and John will love the way his curries turn out, it’s the best way to do them, long and slow. Hope the car swap is trouble-free. All the best everyone, Hz.

Evening..:>))
Thought i better pop in and say G'day. So many Family History sites to visit and do research on the net these days, by the time you spend the hrs at night searching away, or even trying to help someone else find family in Aussie..... its time for bed....lol
Off to Phuket in a few weeks time for a 10 day relax. I would bring you all home a bar mat.....but i dont think its a good idea at the moment.........O'oops......;>)))
Just had Solar powered gas hotwater system installed today. Blokes turned up at 7:00am ..up on the terra cotta roofing tiles they went. Laid out two 7ft x 4ft Solar sun panels to catch the Sun rays from East to West ....and finished at 2:00pm. Installed the new water system Tank & booster kick in ( when the suns not around in Winter ) ..then took the old 25 year old Coppermatic upright away. So should save a few $$$$$ coming up this Spring & Summer and run purely from Solar Power gas hotwater.
Sending positive thoughts for all who are not 100%.
Av a good un
