ello LA I'm fine hun a bit water logged here with 5days of heavy rain. pmsl it even washed the wheelie bins away !

I am good thanks Uzzi, apart from man flu lol - rain ? what is that.... we have had sunshine all week *smiles smugly* lol

Yes finally the move happened (was beginning to think it never would! ) have been here 3 weeks now so settling a bit now... got the PC up and running which is essential , a few boxes unpacked and getting used to nchange of view and noise of roads etc lol...going up and down stars is a novelty (was in a bungalow) my knees really felt it for the first week :)

Awww Rose but think of the good the stairs will do glad u all sorted now. It is funny the noise change tho' aint it. I lived in London once on a minor rd , moved to Brighton on a major rd and couldn't sleep for ages cos it was so quiet !
LA do not mock pmsl we don't understand that kind of rain where the rd becomes a river ....(.errrrr it happens every yr an we still dont expect it ) but that aside we will have sunshine back on Thursday . pmsl anyone got any wellies !

Now would I mock Uzzi ? I have some lovely wellies with daisies on ... but doubt they would fit you, they are childrens lol

Back to the question tho'
would I turn back time , no, for me Dad so I could have another 5mths def no cos I would give him 5 more months of pain. To a marriage I wished hadn't happened, at least it led me to where I am now . To something I said and should have kept me mouth shut possibly but sooner or later I would have said it and I do try to think first. ( note the word try ) So when all said and done there is no point wishing myself back to a time which if I changed it would not give me the happiness I have now ,

and yes ofcourse you would mock and why not pmsl so would I . (just )

That is an interesting question.........If I could turn back time...........but I always interpret that as having to go through it all again........or does one have hind sight if one gets to go back ?

Which ever way..........I wouldn't want to have to do any of my life over again...........managed ( just ) to keep my sanity the first time round...........lol

Amanda I think the idea is knowing with hindsight so you could change the way your life ran

Thought it might be Uzzi...........but I'll stick with what I've got now........rather than dwell on what might have been : )

tis often the best way or you waste what you have left of your life thinking what if instead I can do

Oh well I have thought about it now.... if I could turn back time, I would alter the way I let myself get carried along with things when I was in my late teens, I would change the way I dealt with people at that time and I would have gone to university:)

As I get older I try to put regrets more to rest, but i will admit, it isnt easy. I hope Ive learnt from mistakes and gained valuable life experience.

I could say I wish I had not done a runner from home, but that would mean I wouldn't have the person beside me today who cares for me and who I care for .

I think I would just change a few 'minor' things lol... like being more decisive when I should have been, and less impetuous when I shouldn't have been ! :) ....and been less scared sometimes....

Jean hun it don't upset I used to say I wouldn't have married me 1st husband ( a vile and nasty man ....cue horrid music) but without that I wouldn't have ended up with the man I am with so for that reason alone I accept my 1st mistake. I even thank me 1st husband if that was the only way I was going to meet the guy I am with

lol Rose if I could change minor things without changing history then .......gawd I would run out of space lol .

Same for me Uzzi ( first one was not a nice man....but I have two children that I love and cherish and two grandchildren from him )..........and living with his unpleasantness made me a stronger person.
I believe the purpose of life is to grow ......good and bad is all in the mix of life.

I'm happy in my life now : )

Uzzi, I think I am just me regardless of experiences and I love my life and like myself:) But the changes I would make would mean that I would have made more of my opportunities and that my actions and lack of them would mean there would have been less consequences for other people:)

Good for you Amanda ..he might have taken you down but what he did do was show how strong you are and provided you with love, from your kids and grandkids. How could you change that . make him a nicer person maybe but then you are happy now so you never needed him anyway.
