Our youngest decieded Europe was to small and went to University in Australia, Weird she is the one we have most contact with
SO DESPAIR NOT THEY MISS YOU WHEN THEY HAVE TO COPE THEMSELVES

2.5 hours away by train.......................
The laundry route I guess.
It doesnt help when last week he went shopping for saucepans & came home with two t-shirts...
So much for male logic...lol

Guess what I just ordered on Argos & guess who's paid for everything else.
The big surprise is.........he's going shopping tomorrow for-CLOTHES aaaaaaaargh.

Swansea
& the little so'n so has already raided the food I'd started getting for him...strewth!!
But I will miss him....it'll be just me & the dog :(

aahhh ....bless him ....but wait till you get to the uni it will cost more than a food bill!!!!!!

I think we paid out about £200 for keys and nights out then we did the shopping and paid for books ....his dad and I came home £500.00 shorter!!!!

I'm going "prepared"..........my sister warned me.
She,however,gets taken shopping when she visits my nephew.lol
Apparently the new thing is to club together & put in a Tesco order.I've also read Sainsbury's are doing a student grocery card..........he will never starve & owns a terms worth of socks... :)

My son says he doesn't wear jackets...........HELLO..........He will have a 20 minute walk to the college in rain, frost, maybe even snow.
I'm saying nothing.......lol

Hi Jen & Heather-I haven't been to Swansea yet,felt guilty but he's going into a new building so it would've just been a waste of time,as it hasn't got an address we can't do his insurance & TV Licence,soooooo lucky.
When he was at College he couldn't wear a jacket either,regularily came home like a drowned rat.lol

you only need the frying pan .......lol

But you will need the laptop and printer with scanner so he dont have to go to all lessons!!!!

Mine is off on th 20th for the 2nd time.!!He went to london uni when he was 19 and stayed 1 term.
Has been home ever since,but now going to Kent Uni,and this time I think he is really ready.He better be!!!!!!!!
I dont fancy doing it a third time.
My daughter sailed through her time at Uni.
I have just bought 20pairs of socks 10 boxers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& bless 'em the local print shop did him a deal on paper,pens,etc

Helen we have socks.............gawd knows how many.lol
