Shelli, If he was at sea his family should be at home. if the ship was in dock it should have been part of the census. Do you know which port he was based in (i.e.where the family would live.) |

Shelli, I can't find Robert anywhere in the 1901. Is the name Dayman from his Mother's previous name or was he adopted. Is there anything else you know about him that would help to locate him in 1901. He is not still in the workhouse and I can't find him under Leach either. I have tried all the variants of Dayman and also trawled all through the likely names. |

I suppose my best bet for the elusive Florence Whittlesea is to go look at Baptisms in the Parish Registers which I presume would be kept in whichever Records Office nearest to Marylebone?? |

I cant find my fathers John Morrow birth cert anywhere in the North of Ireland but he states on my mum and his marriage cert he was born in Newtownards county Down N.Ireland and states his parents names also Thomas and Agnes Morrow she was nee Coulter but no trace of them to be found in any churches or BDMs..They were protestants! |
