Thanks Jo, will see how things are during the week and let you know.

Wanted to visit my pal at her Dad's now, but just don't feel 'with-it' enough to drive a 20 mile round trip today. Hope I can see her on Tuesday with our other friend, if she is still there, or if she comes back to the hospice I can get there more easily. She has 24 hr carers and other family visiting so can't cope with too many people anyway.
This cfs is so restrictive. My head wants to do lots but the old bod won't co operate!

I am not sure either where the place is.Is it near Broomfield hospital? Will ask my dad tomorrow or i may just park up in Chelmsford and get on the bus. When i go to records i come up the 414 to the Writte roundabout and go through Writtle until the garage on the right and turn up past the duck pond.Does anyone know if i did not turn off at the garage and go straight on would i come to it? Jo, I emailed Grannie the Link this morning... :o)

If you follow signs for A&E you can't go far wrong, I'm sure it can't be far away from the Hospital xx

The Angel is on the B1008 road. It's about two miles from Chelmsford. Broomfield Hospital is about another mile heading towards Braintree. Will try to get along if I can get some time off work. Best Wishes.

As to directions, if you get into Chelmsford follow the signs for Braintree and the Broomfield Hospital A & E.

If you get to the hospital head back towards Chelmsford and it's a mile down on the left.

If coming by train, the No. 42 bus from the bus station opposite the railway station (it doesn't actually go into the bus station but stops on the road outside), runs every 15 minutes and stops right opposite (Angel Green stop). If you have a bus pass you can use it.
You can also get the 47, which goes round the houses a little, or 352. I'll check up on other numbers.
