Hi, Ginqueen,thats really good news,must be big relief for him :)) It is awful to ever try to paint bad pic for child of of other parent i agree & feel sure as she grows her mother will pay the price of her behavior.

Hi WildCat - yes, he's on top of the world thanks, the little girl is only 3 and she won't let any of us take photos of her because her mother told her a nasty woman would steal her away if she did - it's heartbreaking but we take it slowly. We're all dreading the day that she falls and cuts herself while she's with us - it'll be back to the courts to start all over again.

But today - we're heading in the right direction :)

I have only one...to have one day with my Mum...not the way she was when she died...not confused, and unaware that I was there, but happy and fun loving the way she used to be.
It will be 3 years on the 4th of July since I lost her, and I still miss her so much.

Very sorry to hear of your loss.
All i can say really is that from benefit of working with people in similar circumstances they are often completely oblivious to their condition & quite content.In my experience its always family who feel the pain.I just hope this was case for your mother :)
Please try & find a little comfort in this if so.

The day I discovered I was pregnant, the day I heard my baby son cry as he was born, the day I held him in my arms, sang the Stevie Wonder song, changing the words to, 'Isn't he lovely, isn't he wonderful .......', saying I would protect him and love him for the rest of his life, let no-one harm him.

l wish that l could have my gran my dad and my mum all back fit and well
cos l miss them so much
mums only been gone 4 weeks and lm still sorting things out
the house is a tip where l keep going through cupboards where does it all come from
feels like its coming out of the woodwork
lv taken loads to the charity shops
there must be little gnomes making more stuff!!

Well i have to say it's nice to see a thread that everybody gets on with everybody, That was my wish when i did this thread. Like so many other people that made a wish here my wish came true.

Shimmer you make a good point when you say about poetry. If you have a problem or feeling sad about something or even feeling happy about something, then write a poem about it, your feel it may help you. You might even wish to add it to me poem thread.

Marilyn Sorry to hear about your mum. Lost my mum too quite a while ago so can understand how your feeling. Think of all the happy times you had, not only with your mum but with your dad and grandad too, When you have some happy thoughts write a poem and keep it. When you have a day and your nott too happy about things take out that poem and read it. Your mum would not wish for you to be sad so try and be happy. Your never stop wishing they was here, but my guess is they are here with you, and at times when your on your own if you consintrate hard enough your be able to feel them around you.
