Why thank you Helen, and Hayley is quite right..it is my Meet Top as I am only a poor Pensioner and have to make do and mend, so to speak. I am renting it out, actually, it is a genuine antique.....*looks at Helen hopefully...very cheap, dear, but a full deposit is needed:-)) |

I think it means, nip out the leaves that are growing just above (or below, Iforget which) the flower buds...lets the sun at them. |
