In that case, any vet will turn out. Your yellow pages is the best bet.

For an out of hours call out, reckon on around £150.00, incl of VAT and drugs, depending on how far they have to travel.

It may be less, may be more, but I think that will be a rough ball park figure going from memory.

If you take it to them, figure on half.

I too worked with vets for many years and count all the local vets here as friends.

I can just see the look on their face if they were expected to go running around after foxes with mange free of charge........

Sorry El did not make myself clear.............apologies offered, want i ment is if you turn up at vets with wildlife they will treat, and yes you are correct if they are called out they will charge.................sorry,

Ah, in that case, I wouldn't dispute that one.

I wish you could class labradors as wild animals.....or alsations. Cost me £140 to have the last one put to sleep last year.

Thanks to the No,. Granny gave me, there will be someone coming out soon(?) to have a look around and try to catch the poor thing, I made them promise me that it would not be killed, they said they are here to save animals not kill them!!

last year had baby seagull fall off my roof
it seemed abit stunned rang rspca they collected it next day couldnt leave it as l couldnt let my dog out into the garden
kept it indoors over night in washing basket

morning Sally, No nothing yet, will give them another ring at 9.am and see whn exactly to expect someone, I dont fancy opening the blinds one morning and finding a strange man wandering around my back garden!!LOL
