I was wondering if you could help me with a problem.Half my Family Tree has died out so I've lost one line completely-would it be possible to adopt some relatives postumously?I don't want to be stuck with a wonky tree.

If I was you I would just write names down out of a telephone directory, whatever.

Because at the end of the day, no one but you is interested and lets face it, you're not going to be related to the king of Wales are you, and unless you're 3/4 German, there's no chance of a pop at the throne of England either.

My family are my problem. They are hard to find on census records, lie on marriage certificates, and have such common names and occupations that google is impossible.

I'm thinking that I should ask someone to open their tree to me and then hijack their family in place of my own.

What do you think?

Please find enclosed irrefutable proof of my claim to the throne of England. You can keep Scotland and Wales, not interested in them.

As all my family are English for the past 25 generations, that alone should make me a better contender than any of your family, but whatever.

I would be obliged if you would take those corgis wiv ya as my pit bull , Tyson, has tourettes and I fear the worst.
