I think you are taking this wayyyy to seriously Colin. honestly, Ian is not 'feeding off other peoples beliefs' as you call it, but is really asking the ins and outs of it all.

If you want to believe that the police use psychics to investigate cases then thats fine, but if you really really research it, you will soon find many many errors in the psychics claims, and complete denials by all police forces that they have ever used them.

I believe there are more things in heaven and earth, as they say, but I am also very sceptical over the many claims of people when they say they have solved murders etc.

Having said that, I went to see a psychic once, recommended by a friend who swore by her. I got the interview taped, and being sceptical about that sort of thing, I was very careful not to give any information by way of questioning, or any answers I could give. You know what? She got everything completely wrong. I still have the tape!

So these days, I will never ever pay someone to do a reading. I have had a reading, very impromptu, free, and amazingly correct. That I believe to be genuine.

TW I do take this seriously as it is a serious subject for thousands of people and as you say yourself you have had a reading, and amazingly correct yet Ian accepts none of this. I am sorry if I am trying to bring seriousness to the thread.....goodnight

but people who crucify other peoples beliefs without seious justifacation don't deserve the board space given them .
psycic detectives, god , allah, whatever your boat do not deserve to be slated by someone whose pnly kick is to get a reaction.

FGS He was watching most haunted the other night and found it funny....( as we all do ).......and this subject has attracted his attention and he has asked about it and questioned ,debated.......you would think he has asked for a human Sacrifice ....he just doesnt beleive and has questioned the evidence...he has even booked to go on a ghost hunt...

All I can say is I watch Darren Brown and my mind was made up....

i have no problem with people belivein or not belivein personal choice...

i dont like the mockin of the people that do belive..

As a person whom I am told likes to hear there own voice I would like to add to this thread that I find it amusing that one of the people on it say that people don't deserve to be slated. but I note there thread where they are critizing the paranting of the Mccanns .I'm so glad that you are the perfect person who has never made a mistake so before you point the finger look in the mirror .As for the rest there has been arguments on both sides and I would have to say that the rest of you seem to have taken things that Eldrick has said very personally but Eldrick does not seem to have done the same with your comments .Yet he is the one being slaged off .I thought we where all adults it would seem I was wrong

Hayley i don't have a problem with anybody askinf questions, I have even tryed replying to a few of Eldricks questions myself. What i do have a problem with just because Eldrick does nor belive in any of what this subject is about, he then goes on to mock others and belittle people. Now i'll ask a question if i may.

What gives him the right to mock anybody?
