Hi Lainey
funnily enough I was googling about Mike Holoway yesterday - he was in repeat of Minder. The programmes were 'you must be joking' and 'pauline quirkes'

Oh Joanne thank you, Yes I remember now. I used to be a huge fan of Flintlock and used to go to their concerts. Mike Holloway was my favourite followed closely by Bill Rice. Have often wondered where they are now and what they are doing. Have tried googling too but not much info out there.

Thanks Lainey x

I used to like the lead singer. The blonde one, but can't remember his name. You can get a bit more info from wikipedia if you search for Mike Holoway. I also googled images yesterday, and got an up to date pic of Mike Holoway. Wish I hadn't though - his face has grown a bit!!

Gordon Bennett! That's a great memory you've got Joanne. Now got to go off and try and find this pic of Mike Holoway.

BTW the lead singer was Derek Pascoe.

Mr Benn for me - a few years ago I was in Belfast and went to the BBC shop there, and decided to buy a Mr Benn toy - dressed as an astronaut lol. I went to the till to pay for it and had to wait for the sales assistant to get to the till and when he got there I said 'And as if by magic - the shopkeeper appeared!'

He didn't actually look too pleased....
