I can remember that film, they all went through an epidemic, the father had to live away with the rest of the children while the mother stayed in the house with the baby, they were from scotland and settled there in the end didnt the villagers built a house for them, but the only thing is i can't remember the name of the film it was on xmas of last year.

I do rememebr the children was given away to differnt people in the village and husband died and the eldest lad became the man of the house, and he had to work for the family to keep them going, the one lad said he wanted to stay with his brother and he had to be cruel to be kind and say no,the lad went to an elder lady's house and he said he would come back for them, Im still trying to rememeber the title and im still thinking

Didnt have TV when I was a child. Shows my age! But OH and I loved Catweazle when our children were young. I wish TV would put it on again here in NZ.
Stan, I remember The Lone Ranger (Hi ho Silver, away), Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers from going to the movie theatre on a Saturday. They were serials. There was also Anchors Aweigh and Captain Marvel (I thought it was Cpt. Marble because he seemed to live in a marble building) and some serial which had a tin robot that an evil man kept in a cupboard. I was nervous about mums linen cupboard for years afterwards, in case there was a robot in there. Perhaps my older sister had suggested it to tease me.
