It was good, Lesley, yes, but, the more I think about Dr Who, the more I think that I prefer the ones from years ago. There was, for me, more suspense then and real scariness.

In answer to your question Secret Red, yes I don't 'recognise' people if they change their boardname.
A classic example - recently there was a thread like this on General, and from reading that I realised that for the last 6 months or so , 2 people who I thought were new, were people I've 'known' for years, it's just that they had changed their board names!!!

I nearly hid last week when watching the first series, picture it -
black and white, using your imagination as to what had swallowed someone, what is round the corner waiting for you ...... instead of colour nowadays, all visual, and last week those little things were so sweet! aah!

If the people on the general board are the same as on this board but using a different name it maybe because it's GR!!

There could be some history there in as much as some people want to connect to some of the past but maybe not all of it.
