Have wanted to put mine in boot camp from time to time, never thought of the circus....... reckon the lion tamer would have his work cut out with our lot........

Maybe babies should come out like packet of cigarettes with a Warning on the side.

' The continued raising of this child may be dangerous to your health '

or long term effect can be

' raised blood pressure, and extreme stress, is likely over any period of time in excess of 13 years !

Bet this is why they don't warn you in the baby mags, they teach you nothing beyond 2 years, old !

Heh,

I know how to really get the daughters back, I just say when I was your age I was a size 8 with a fantastic head of hair, that was before I had kids, they take one look at me a size 16 and a head full of grey hair, you just waitm and it puts the fear of God into them, ;O)
Reckon that works better than any screaming match

My daughter will hit the teens in Nov she is already saying won't be long till I can borrow your clothes mam. I'm only 5' 1" and she is about 4'11" and about a size 6.

My reply is by the time you are a size 10 my dear you will be too tall to wear them ha ha ha.

The youngest is 10 in may and is already in the Kevin stage of life... stomping about flinging his arms and groaning at me when I tell him off.

Ohh what a happy life we lead.

I know for a fact I wasn't like that cause I would have got a hiding from my mam and dad I knew better.

This is a great thread keep them coming.

Our youngest looks down at his dad pats him on the head and calls him 'Ronnie' which doesn't go down too well as he has the glasses too. (Ronnie lookalike available)
Good job we can all laugh.

My son's getting on for 6', his dad's 5'6", I'm 5'31/2" (1/2" very important when you're short!), pats his dad on head! Q: Is that why he's losing his hair?"

I just remind him when he eats equivalent of 6 dinners throughout day/night that his dad was thin and now look: Henry VIII! Lol!

~~~~~~~~ waves to all, smiles
~~~~~~~~~ to gemsqueen funny isn't it lol?! Could have done with this years ago!

Moy Report 15 Apr 2008 20:25

They certainly seem to be getting taller. I have been the smallest in the house for the past year ( boys 15 & 17 ) and I think the next smallest is my hubby !! When the boys laugh at us I just tell them they'll be like their father soon and have no hair !! lol

What is it with teenagers nowadays, do they come with 'grow bags' especially the lads, when I was a teenager never remember the guys being 6' 4,maybe I am shrinking, mind you at 4' 10" there is nothing down for me ;O)

Please keep these coming.
I have never laughed so much.
I do sympathise with you all who are having probs with kids.
I consider myself lucky. I have 2 sons aged 29 and 27.
They fought like mad all through their childhood.
The 29 year old is still at home but desperate to leave when he
can get his business really going. His girlfriend lives with us too.
The 27 year old moved out last year with his girlfriend. At one point though 6 adults living in a small semi with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom was a nightmare.
Have to add too that the sons rarely speak to each other and I have to organise family meetings so we can all meet up for meals etc. The only thing is they are really jealous of each other and don't need to be.

My OH is only 5' 3" and the 27 year old is 5' 10" and he squared up to his dad once, never tried it again.
OH and I can't wait to be on our own as we'd save a fortune on leccy etc. Mind you we want Grandchildren too. Are we mad!!

t's only when you read other posts here that you appreciate what you've got.
Shame the kids don't see it that way.
