Well if we win the lottery (LOL) We possibly will be coming to Cyprus next year as hubby's nephew has rung today and said he's getting married in Paphos next Sept.
We used to live just outside Limasoll 27 years ago. but haven't been back since.

Have a superb time on the Lizard, we used to drive down on a Sunday afternoon when we lived in Cornwall and visit Kynance, Mullion, and Cadgwith

Hisaronu in Turkey for 2 weeks

I also need a couple of days in Staffordshire, a week in Cornwall, some time in Scotland, a few days in West Wales, 6 months in Ireland & a caravan to go treeing!

We went near there last year Tina & used coastal properties.

Do you know they are selling the lighthouse for £1250000 !!!

Selling the lighthouse ? But its still in use?
Its automated but still warns ships - the fog horn went off a few times when we were staying.

Brummie Helen--you will not recognise Cyprus after 27 years away,it's a concrete block of housing estates .
However ,there are from this year a few cheap flight only deals especially into Paphos airport,check them out-& rent cheap and cheerful accomodation.

No haven't booked anything. But holidays for this year are:-

Soon coming to the UK (leaving hubby behind at work), so I'll be doing the usual rounds of visiting family and friends, and hope there's time left over for dead rellies.

Later in the year (def. not in the summer months) hubby and I will take a few short trips - Cairo, Dubai and Muscat.

Not sure about Christmas & New Year yet.

I dont understand that Penny - in fact I am a bit concerned - if its for sale what is happening to the holidays that have been booked and paid for? I know you dont know the answers but just speaking out loud. I will be making enquiries about this.

Maybe just selling as an ongoing business concern (holiday let?)

We booked three short breaks last year...........all well in advance.

Then my husband got ill and we only had one of them.........................this year will be hit and miss as he has to have another operation in the next few weeks, so I'm booking nothing!

Hopefully we can go away late summertime.................probably Hampshire or Dorest.
