Thank you everybody. I'm over whelmed by your kind words and thoughts. My sister and I have sorted as much as we can, and Mum's funeral is next Friday 4th April at 11am. The reason for the delay is there has to be a post mortem done, and as she passed away just after the Easter break, there is a back log (that sounds awful I know). There will also have to be an inquest, but that will not hold the funeral up. It does hold up the registration procedures though, as we cannot do that without the death certificate, and we can't have that issued without the post mortem having been completed.

We have made all the arangements with the funeral director, and also had a visit from Rev'd Celia yesterday to discuss the service. We are insisting that it will be a celebration of Mum's life, and all that she meant to all of us in her different guises - wife, Mum, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunty, friend. It's amazing that the official announcement of her passing is not yet in the local papers, but already the cards have started arriving.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Pauline

The same thing happened when my father-in-law passed away, it takes a while to complete all the paperwork, but it has to be done.

Still thinking of you and your sister and the rest of your Mum's family and friends.

Take each day as it comes and look after yourself too.

xx
