Me too DevonDweller! We are a lot of softies.

OH wants to keep chickens and he said that there would be plenty of fresh eggs and of course chicken for sunday roasts - I said no way - if we have chickens they are pets - eggs fine dont mind those - but ringing of necks and having chuckie or betsy for lunch is out of the question. lol

Weird isn't it? I would be no good as a farmer's wife. I would be putting up a blockade when the time came to take them to the (cannot use that word but you know where I mean)! lol

I was thinking that, they all look calmer. I hope she has her baby soon bless her to take her mind off the other one.

Do you know I could quite easily turn vegetarian after watching this!

You would think there would be somebody there in charge and with experience - surely to goodness there is in case of complications?

No they don't know anything about husbandry.or they would have separated them straight away.

I used to help a friend at lambing time and that was the first thing we did was separate the sheep and new lambs from the rest of the flock.

It's heartbreaking just watching her looking for the lamb.
