they would not put you through this

at least one person dies every week

at the hands of a so called loved one

I found it easier just to run Chris, and never went back, because of the memories,... holes in the doors, that were around my head , broken plates that slashed my face etc,.

Shame/dispair/finances/where to go/even more disruption to children's lives. Hope that when they say it will never happen again - that this time he/she means it.

It is a true saying a leopard never changes his spots - a husband can look at his wife the next morning and gaze upon her battered face and deny he ever did it. Get out and run - you will survive - or better still - see if you can get OH out and change locks/restraining order.
