I was one of the lucky ones and wasn't infected by the Trojan that attacked last week.
However I watched Errol put in a hell of a lot of hard work on behalf of the members of GR.
As a result of this loads of people were helped !
In view of this I really think that GR owe Errol......................
In my opinion they could at the VERY LEAST offer him a years free subs.

I completely agree with you Lin, Errol went above and beyond to help us all and deserves some recognition and thanks for all the time and effort he put in.

Even a private word of gratitude would be nice.


Errol saved many people from following the on-screen instructions on this site from getting a nasty download to their computer,and gave clear instructions for those that had,,,

I also was unaffected, I hope, but was very impressed by the time and effort he put in. I also feel that in addition to the free sub for a year or two that GR should put a thank you on the boards so that we know that they also appreciate his help.

Can't repeat a good thing too often though, so, thanks, and thanks again, for all your unselfish effort Errol. We all really appreciate it so much.

How about a public commendation for Errol from GR, plus free membership, for LIFE.

It seems to me that Errol was the one that Genes sat up and listened to - and he has helped many people, on the boards and with private messages. He did a sterling job and I am glad this thread was started.

Good on yer, Errol!

I got hit 4 times on this site but thankfully my security stopped it in its tracks.
Errol worked very hard to help everyone, selflessly giving up his time.
I stayed away for a day or two and I am sure others will have done the same so if Errol hadn't been so quick and thorough GR could have lost a lot of people through this.

I don't think that a years subs for free is to much to ask for Errol as he helped so many people who I know cannot thank you enough Errol
