They've come in from the cold...

I think they like biscuits and things rather than cheese BC....

seriously though, there are several good humane traps you can use to remove them - but beware- mice can find their way back from two miles away!!!!!!!

All this mice bashing is appauling!!!!

A poor mummy and daddy mouse, looking for somewhere safe for their little ones to rest from the bitter cold.....Finding a kind lady who has been throwing them food and feeding birds they decide to return the favour by moving in and keeping her company....

What a lovely thought......

You probably don't want to know this but

1) If you can get a pencil through a hole you can get a mouse through it.

2) They prefer chocolate to cheese but if push comes to shove they'll eat anything.

3) They tend to stick to the edges of rooms rather than being out in the middle.

4) They run fast.

5) When you have caught it in the plastic bag bin under sink the mouse will jump when it sees you. (You will also jump even if you don't have a problem with mice)

6) When you've caught it in a humane trap don't take it to the nearest churchyard, it'll be back the following morning. It needs to go much further, at least 1/2 mile.

7) When OH asks if Mickey is male or female don't bother trying to find out. It isn't as easy as sexing a hamster.

8) Don't get in from pub and decide to take newly captured mouse to local gravel pit. It is dark, you are p****d and the first barn owl to fly over will get a free meal!

We get one or two mice every year usually around easter time though we had one briefly last september.
