Hi I am trying to find a Frederick Webster born c1898 in Normanton.

He later married a lady called Thurza (theresa) Hopson and had my Grandfather Harold Webster (1923)

Any information on Frederick or Thurza would be a great help.

I don't have anything on Fred at the moment just got Grandads Birth Certificate.

Thurza born c1898.

Altofts/Normanton is in Wakefield district in West Yorkshire

I've checked from 1917 to 1923 and I can't find a marriage between a Frederick Webster and a Hopson.

None of them births i put on are the Frederick that married Thirza, but i reckon 1 will be their son thou

Think I may have to send for their Marriage Certificate to Find Fred's Father so I can try and find him on a Census.

Could you tell me sorry if a silly question, if I search the Records Office could I find other births? I know my Grandfather wasn't baptised so I doubt any of the others will be.

I know quite a few of the names just wondering how I would find them all and confirm their dob's

I think it's highly likely that its the same one as he has named some of his children after his siblings.

I will check for definate though.
