Thanks guys, you did find George but I was still typing by the time you'd put details up!

I didn't even think of trying Santaff! I had tried double Ll on Lantaff but didn't think of an S - you're all much better at this than me. Thanks so much. That looks like the right one.

I'm going to re-check the Hobbs link - can't remember why I dismissed it now - my notes are awful - must keep better records! If that is her, then she had a really sad life eh?

The Emma link is definitely worth a bit more research - again I didn't think of that - thick huh?

If the George whose death I posted WAS her husband.......who was Susan's father?

Oh my goodness, this is so exciting! I only started doing this on Sunday and I'm already hooked!

It's very intriguing isn't it? It sounds like old Lizzie had quite a chequered life!

You're right Reg - who is Susan's father?! The George sounds right for Emily and George's dad because I know Emily had a son she later named George.

And if Lizzie was Hobbs and had an earlier daughter also Lizzie - who was her father?! Blimey!
