Hi, I have tried to find some information about George Coleman. He was in the Royal Navy, and his Service Record gives his date of birth as 4/11/1863. The 1901 Census gives his birth as being Queenstown, Ireland. The year 1863 seems to be significant as records seem to start from 1864. |

When searching for a Birth, Death or Marriage on the Civil Registrations on this wonderful website, https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ be aware that although some records do not show the maiden name for the mother, when searching for a Birth, but by clicking on the child's name it will open another page and if it has 'image' click on it to view the details. |

I struggled with all these sites and the couple I tried I got lost. Trying to find EMMA KEELEY b1830, father Thomas. All I know so far is born in Ireland. Any help much appreciated. |
