Is it possible that William is missing from the 1861 census and is one of the William Procters who dies in 1864? |

Gwyn there is a small connection between William Dean age 15 and William Proctor. William Deans father William Dean was also born in Audley. |

I have searched BMD from June qrt 1851 to March qrt 1861 for a William Proctor(er) and only found the one in 1852 and it's the right place, but why weren't one of his children presant at death??? He's a Blacksmith on 1841 and 1851 and yet a year later when he dies he's a Potter. If he had contracted asthma as a Blacksmith he would not have become a Potter iam sure, but then who knows there were know health & safty rules then !!! |
