Hi Mike,
Could you check a Lubenham marriage if you have them on your disc (and you haven't got sick of doing look-ups for me yet...)?
I have the following entry in the Husbands Bosworth PRs:
"Banns of Marriage between James BERRY of this Parish Widower and Mary WHITE of the Parish of Lubenham Spinster"
The banns were read on 2nd, 9th and 16th June 1805, but there's no matching marriage, so I assume they were married in Lubenham. Can't find anything in the IGI.

Thanks very much, Mike, that's brilliant.
I'm actually descended from James and his first wife Elizabeth Bale, but he had several children by his second wife who are obviously step-relations of mine, so I thought it'd be nice to have details of the marriage.

Two William Tyler in Slawston on the 1851. Census. ( indexed as Tylor via internet but as Tyler on my Discs )
William aged 8. born Medbourne, Father William (41) Born Glooston. Mother. Ann née Weston.(36) born Stretton.
Baptism details for William Snr.
William Son of Henry Tyler.& Elizabeth. née Perkins. 4th. Feb. 1810. St. John the Baptist Parish Church Glooston. ( Which is 1.8. miles North of Slawson. )
William. Aged 10. born Slawson Father. John.(34.) Born Slawson. Mother. Rebecca née Marlow (36.) b Slawson.
MIKE.
UPDATE.
Having now seen that 1881. census return and seeing the Christian name of William's eldest Son ( Henry aged 21) I think we'll go along with the details for Henry & Elizabeth being the Parents of your William although dates for his Baptism was 1810 he could have be aged 5. years old then ?
Henry & Elizabeth Marriage details :~ Henry Tyler. ~ Elizabeth Perkins. 26th. Dec. 1808. St. John the Baptist Parish Church Glooston. by Banns.

*** F.A.O. *** Joyce O’ Holland.
Sorry I misunderstood that we was looking for a William Tyler. born early 1800’s Slawston, Leicestershire.
But now having seen the 1881 Inage for 2, Kinlock Street. London.
Showing William’s approximate birth year of 1841.
Then I believe this is William’s Parents & Family in 1841.Census.:~
HO 107. / 591./ Book. 13. / Fol. 6. / Page. 7.
Leicestershire. Slawston. Within the Village. John TYLER. 25. Ag. Lab. Rebecca. 25. Joseph. 4. John. 2. WILLIAM. 4 Months old. ALL Born within the County.
And again 1851. Census. HO107. / 2093./224./ Page. 19. Leicestershire. Slawston.. Within the Village.
John TYLER. Head. Mar. 38. Ag. Lab. b Slawston. Rebecca. Wife..36. Joseph. Son. 14. John. Son. 12. WILLIAM. Son. 10. James. Son. 7. Charles. Son. 5. Infant. Male. 2. Months old.
ALL Born Slawston. Leicestershire.
I think we on the right tract now ?
Will check out Census 1861.71. After the Football tonight

Rebecca Dies sometime between 1861. ~ 71.

Hi Mike
I was wondering if you had managed to find anything on my ancestor David Robinson. If you are unable to please don't wory.
"Hi Mike
I am trying to find David Robinson born in Leicester in approx 1827. From his marriage certificate to Jane Bradley 21/8/1848 in Parish Church, Dewsbury, York it says his father is John Robinson and that he is a soldier. David is down as a traveller. I have been unable to locate a baptism for him. There are two David Robinsons born this year in Leicester. For information he was blind in one eye and on the 1881 census he is down as blind and a photographer!!!
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks.
Lorraine"
and your reply
Greeting’s & Welcome Lorraine…….
Nothing showing up……… just yet
Having tracked him back 81. through to 61.
Just wonder why his surname changed on the 1871.Census To..... Robinson ~ Welsh ?
If his Father was a Soldier then I need to checkout the Parish Registers for St. Mary’s which the Barracks came under. Unfortunately my St. Mary’s Baptism resources only go up to 1820. So it’s down to a Records Office search sometime this week. I’ll report back on this thread which ever way it goes.
