I am researching: Driver (Leeds and earlier in Bradford or Calverley); Lumb (Leeds and Whitkirk); Reyner (East Ardsley, Wakefield, Sandal Magna, and earlier in Horbury); Collinson (Methley and Wakefield). Earlier spouses' names (early nineteenth century) include Dunwell, Backhouse, Beecroft and Eastwood; even earlier are Shaw, Nettleton, Tootal, Labron, and Lake. I've got loads but it'll take me a while to sort them out. Sharon Lamplough is a very common name in these parts. I've been searching in the North Burton area (not too far from Driffield) and theres always a Lamplough where ever I look! lol. At Easter we went to Burton Agnes Hall and there was even a mention of Lamplough in their family tree. I've even got a friend with that surname. Lindsey Tell me more about your Granthams. I have one in my family tree and it's also my business partners surname. There is also a florist in the village called Wharram. Jeanette |
