I am looking for the any information on John William Baines born 1847 in Leeds. His father's name's George Baines and mother Emily Clark, they married in 1846 at St Peters in Leeds. Any information prior to the 1881 census would be appreciated. Best wishes Joanne |

Looking for family with surname Mitchell. Lived in Leeds, West Yorkshire ...I think married there in 1906 Names I am looking for - Vincent John Mitchell and wife Annie Parker. Also I am interested to know if there was a Vincent Mitchell or a John V. Mitchell living in Leeds at time of 1901 Census, who his parents were and where they lived. My Great Grandmother was Frances Ann Miller born 1870 in Danby North Yorkshire, Daughter of William Miller and Ann nee Britton. Frances is reputed to have married a John (Jack) Green. They had two children, William Anthony born August 1902 and Lily born Christmas Day 1903. Frances died April 1904. Both children were born in Gateshead. I am unable to find a marriage for John and Frances but I do know she was at home in Lingdale with her widowed father William on 1901 census so it must have been very soon after that. If anyone is related to either John Green or the Miller family I would love to hear from you. Dianne xx |

COOPER, BEVERLEY, EAST YORKSHIRE - My grandfather was Frank Cooper, born 1903 down Long Lane, Beverley. He's known to have had several brothers and 1 sister, thought to be Mary, David, John, George and Septimus (presumed to be circa 1900). I've got very scant information on their parents, but they are thought to be Joseph Cooper who married Jane Herbert? RUDDOCK, DRIFFIELD, EAST YORKSHIRE - My grandmother was Florence Gertrude Cooper, born 1908 in Driffield. She's known to have had several brothers/sisters, thought to be Annie, Lillian, Thomas, James, possibly more. Again, I have scant info on their parents, thought to be Laura Bateman? and ? Ruddock. Any info to get me past this point would be greatly appreciated :) Gemma |
