I like it too and find it much EASIER on my eyes than the black on white! GC can't please everyone but I think they have done a good job. Lynne

I don't like it either! yes it is easier to navigate the tree's but the message boards & add relations are driving me mad!

Well ..... I WAS surprised!! I haven't had a detailed look at EVERYTHING in here yet, but what I HAVE seen, I like - very much. Well done GC - sorry ..... GR! (Old habits, etc. ...!) I don't come on the site as often now, or for as long, as I used to, for varying reasons, but, so many people are knocking these changes that I just had to put my twopenn'orth in! Janet

Hi, I like this upgrade much better than the last one. I'm not so sure about having a coloured background but the writing (font and size) is easier to read. Gwynne

I Haven't been on this website since Friday and I had a bit of a shock when I logged on, I thought something was wrong with my eyes, I don't mind change but why can't they leave things as they are. Wonder how long it will be before they change it again. Rosemary

been on here a long time in the background, look everyday and there are lots of names that are not on any more, and some new ones that are now lording it a bit, i don't like the new layout one bit and have you noticed it is not run by happy somthing or other anymore, have they sold out. think i will have a go on colin's site, as i guess thats were all the old faces have gone.

Now, now Linda. At least it's better than it was at 10 o'clock this morning. EVERYTHING was BLUE. I closed my eyes and could still see blue zizags! At least they've seen sense and the text is black on the messages and legible. Even the blue background seems paler in comparison. Jackie

Crap! Not to put too fine a point upon it and I HATE the 'boards' - can't see print very easily.

Haven't had much time to explore it yet but I appreciate the fact that the new layout means you've only got one distracting advert instead of two,(Except when your adding a message)though am finding the margins annoying.

can i just point out that when GC changfed the format last time everyone complianed is was too bright etc but trust me it soon becomes the normal LOL this is the third???? change i've seen Gc do and as far as i'm aware peeps said the same after each change give it a couple of days to se how it goes Shelli

Generally looks okay - but dont like the TEXT SIZE on message boards. I usually have my 'view' set to LARGER - on here it gives me eye strain cos it's too large! Change it to medium and I get eye strain the other way cos it's now just a tad too small - have found myself squinting to read the message titles.............need a middle ground here GR or you'll be getting my opticians bill LOL..........

Am I imagining it, or has the blue on blue turned black on blue? Seems a lot better....or am I just getting used to it?!!! Jackie

I actually thought at first there was something wrong with my GLASSES he he, I had to take them off & clean them, but I have'nt checked it out properly as yet, but I think I like it, at first I thought the colour had faded. I have just noticed it also tells you when your membership runs out mine is January 05. Rita (Western Australia).

Michelle has said that the "View Relations" option for viewing other peoples trees should be back later today or tomorrow. Great work Janet

I have emailed GR about the blue. It's no good complaining and doing nothing -wonder if they'll listen!!! I seem to remember the strong members' lobby against GC being changed to GR. Jackie

Some of it I find easier to read but ............. I don't like the new set up for viewing other trees. Is it me or can you no longer view the relations in some one else's tree. With large trees it is very difficult to negotiate if your link is several generations back and on several different maternal lines. Janet

Perhaps if we all lobby GR about the blue on blue perhaps they'll do something about it. Also, don't like the blue underlining on the messages. It does make it hard work to visually scan them -or do I need a visit to the opticians? Jackie
