It could be William cause they seem to like reusing name and they have 2 sons - Frank & William. |

Can't find a Nightingale birth that fits, and no Annie Nightingale on 1881. I wouldn't get too excited about the name - I think about 90% of my male relatives were called William - and I've given it to my eldest son too. nell |

Have you tried for any likely mis-spellings in the other records? "Tinker" leaps to mind as a likely one. Christine |

There's also a Frank TINKLER born 1860, married to Ann WHITEHILL in 1881 and died in 1891 - all in Nottinghamshire. The NIGHTINGALE name could equally belong to his mother? All these on FreeBMD. Regards Mary |
