Just tried to get into this site, and I've been suspended - only just registered - anyone else had this problem? Jackie

I registered about an hour ago (after reading the posts)and got my 60 free credits. I did a look up for someone then logged out. I've just tried to get back in, expecting to fail, but my 58 units are still showing. Did anyone else log out before they left the site? I don't usually when I leave a website, not sure what made me this time. I never log out of GR!

Registered with Hubbys email etc. Guess what, same as me, SESSION TIMED OUT. Getting really fed up with this, cannot even contact them this time as the same SESSION TIMED OUT Linda

ok, so when you say you are using another email addy, wot process do you go through, are you setting up another account and putting his addy in? Maria

Pat you would be much better off getting an ancestry sub at 1.20 a week you have access to all the census, not just 1901 plus freebmd and lots of other stuff.

Its not fair no credits for me I think its favourtism or something I registed yesterday got an email and went back to have a look and no credits went back just now and still none darn cheers Laraine

what you need to do is google for familyrelatives first, then try, cos it just worked for me yesssssssssss!

I've just registered with this site, but I can't buy any units. First impressions count, and I don't think I'll be going back. Got bombed out 3 times trying to register, once because I'd put hyphens in my town's name, and it only allows letters & spaces. Don't know how the rest of you are getting free units! Helen

Has anyone looked at the accounts page??? They invoice us every time we get free units. PLUS.........big brother knows every name we have searched for & how many results we got etc !!! scary

Just registered on the site and searched 1921-1938, my own birth, marriage, grandmothers death, relatives marriage but no results at all, plus the site kept bombing out. I think they will have to improve a great deal if it is to be successful. Grace

They do say that period isnt fully covered on the site. But I have to say I entered my mum and dads dates 1914 and 1920 and obviously I know they are correct and it came up zilch.

HELP!!! Each time I log in and then go to "buy credits" or "search" I keep getting "time out" and then have to log in again!! However my time shown seems to be increasing. I really want to get on this site, so any help would be great. Thanks, Sue

Hello Can anyone please tell me before I bother to register, if this site covers the usual genealogy definition of the UK (ie; England & Wales!), or whether there is Scottish info also? Many thanks Ellen.

I've just got free credits too! I can't believe they don't know this is happening? Off to use them anyway! ;)

I've just logged in and searched with my free credits no problem.

I just got an email from them about the credits.... "We are currently dealing with a technical issue on Familyrelatives.org which we are working very hard to resolve. We are monitoring the situation carefully and anyone who has abused the website or who has provided information or who has made anyone else aware in any way of the technical issue (via telephone, email, forums or any other form of communication) about how they may procure units without payment, or who are found to have already done so, may be pursued for rightful payment and costs through legal means.
