Hi Sorry, i have been on the phone to my granfather trying to see if he has any info he may have missed out. I know i need to start from the earliest event which would be my grandfather. He has just told me that he always believed he was born in coventry and his surname was turner, until he needed a passport he found that coventry had no register of his birth. He later found out from his mother he was born in warwick. After applying for a new Cert he also found that his name at birth was Rushton and that he had been celebrating his birthday on the 10th instead of the 11th. He never knew who his father was and his mother never told him. Now she is dead i guess he will never know. My family just has to many skeletons i think.

It seems very likely to me that your Maria never married. Do as everyone suggests and move backwards and you will find out! Unless any of you guys can find the marriage? HI JOANNE - yes, there is part 1851 on ancestry - a sample, not terrific but there.

Hi, His christian name is George Edward, he was born 11/01/1937 in Warwick. She did have someone living with her so my grandad remembers a George Charles Dyas.
