Hi Gwyneth,had a look on 1881 and you might want to keep this for future reference,IF all the info on the thread turns out to be right. Louisa Darling Head 48 Eating house keeper Walter Humphrey Boarder 26 Circus performer/manager Gertrude S Humphrey 27 Living,28 Caversham road,Reading. Jim That would fit it quite well with being 69 at death in 1923. I even have a photograph of this woman but knew nothing about her. Thank you all so much for your help with this. Please don't delete any of the replies. My computer is playing up and I may not have time to enter all this today. Thank you to all you wonderful helpers. |
