William and Phoebe(born Long _itchington, Warks) Harris were in Oxford in 1861 with son Joseph aged 6 Charles Biddle, aged 10, born Long Itchington was with his uncle and aunt John and Sarah Biddle |

I assume you have the cert for his marriage, who were the witnesses to his marriage? Anyone Biddle by any chance?- wouldn't that just tie things up? jess |

Have just looked at the 1871 image for the Biddles - Charles was a carpenter's labourer which adds to the evidence for him being your Charles Harris. Also I can find no reference to Charles Biddle born Long Itchinton (or variations in spelling) in 1881 or later censuses. |

It has just occured to me that Lynne said that William and Phoebe ( who she doesn't think are hers)went to oxfordshire and had a son Joseph. Who else also went to oxfordshire? Williams brother/ Charles Uncle!! (and charles!) jess |
