There's no ''must have''!!!! They might have never married, or married later - just lied to the registrar!! Merry |

FANNY KETLEY and GEORGE HERBERT PRICE must have married sometime between 1920 and 1924 because when GEORGE HERBERT PRICE JNR was born fanny was called FANNY PRICE. |

Karl, I think you need to consolidate your information before you move on......I already posted data for Margaret Gould on one of your other threads....it's not fair on Tracy that she is doing things again for you!! You need to take a deep breath!!!!!!! Don't worry about people not being sure of their ages in the Victorian era. My ggggrandfather is on all the census returns, 1841-1901. If you took notice of the ages he gave then he was born anytime between 1811 and 1825 lol In fact he never got it right!!!! Merry |

Exactly :) I still don't know why you can't find them though. Perhaps they never married, or perhaps they married a while after George jnr was born. |

On FREE BMD it says MARGARET MAUD GOULD born 1874 in Pontypool. |

Quite often the ages are recorded wrongly. Given that this is only a year out, there is nothing wrong. Her birth might be on FreeBMD. Put her name in a see what pops up. Might be easier to search for Margaret Maud Gould. |

I bought the 1881 census on 30 disks and it cost quite a bit, but can't find anyone on there WALTER WINSON BORN 1870 in bristol and MARGARET GOULD born 1874 are not on that census for some reason. |

there's nothing on family relativers between 1921 and 1924 for the marriage of FANNY KETLEY and GEORGE HERBERT PRICE. |

If they did marry, it will have been between 1921 and 1924, when George jnr was born. |

Yeah i think Ernest Ketley was Fanny's first husband, Fanny must have been 41 years old when she gave birth to my grandad. All i need to find out now is when Fanny's second husband George Herbert Price was born and what year they married! |

Mr Ketley was called Ernest. I'll try to find his death, which will hopefully be before 1920. Possibly... Death Mar 1920 Ketley Ernest 37 Birmingham 6d 373 Right-ish age. Fanny was born in 1883. |

I think Mr KETLEY died, because on my grandad's birth certificate it says mother (FANNY PRICE, LATE KETLEY, FORMERLY RAVENSCROFT) |
