Also don't forget, even if Edwin said his dad was also Edwin when he married in 1880, it doesn't mean that was true!!!! Many people prefered to hide their illegitimate status by making up a dad's name when they married. if you were a man yourself, then the most obvious name to give would be your own name!! Did Edwin give an occupation for this other Edwin, his father?? Merry |
