one of the best things i have found on certs is army service numbers, i have found about a dozen of these, which i may not have found any were else, i recently sent for my Aunts marriage cert from 1944, she married a GI and moved to the states shortly afterwards, this gave her husbands army number and i have just found his draft card on Ancestry. |
