Hi Audrey If you can find your thread which you put on the Records Office board back in April concerning Sarah Jane, you will see that Sarah Jane's birth, marriage and whereabouts in 1901 were found by Deborah Coone and myself for you. Best wishes Jackie |

Thankyou thankyou, that's wonderful, so now I find out that not only were my Dad's family from Cornwall, but my Mother's family were from Somerset! So I guess I can say my Ancestors were not Welsh all the way back, but English! Which is perfectly fine. Merry, the address of 40 Maria Street, I'm assuming that's where the Brooks family were living, and its strange as that's the street that some of my Husband's family came from in Cardiff's Dockland, used to be known as the infamous Tiger Bay (Shirley Bassey etc.) It is verry definitely a small world! Now if I can get Sarah's family names I'll be happy for a while - smile - thankyou all from snowy Niagara Falls, Canada. |

Jackie, I'm sorry that the info you had sent on Sarah didn't get to me, I had to get my computer repaired and it took me a while but they had to format the hard drive so I lost stuff and didn't know you had sent it to me, so sorry, Audrey |

Jackie & Debbie: thankyou so much, all that wonderful info, yes it's the right Sarah as I remember being taken to visit my Aunts, Stella , Rachel and Nellie, Nellie lived with us for a short while, I was born in 1938 so remember them, don't remember the Brothers though, maybe they weren't in Cardiff. Again thankyou, that's enough to keep me out of mischief for a while! Audrey |
