I have a Mary Shepherd you can borrow. My problem is George Blacker, my rellie George was the local G.p. and by all accounts a very popular man. Not only did all his children and grandchildren have at least one George all their cousins did as well - about thirty in one village. I would have hated to be the local teacher. best wishes Anne

Lol Rebs! Now....I don't have anyone on my tree with the SURNAME, Butcher.....but......... my granddad, great, 2xg, 3xg and 4xg were all butchers....so my flock had better watch out! Merry

Merry, I've got a Butcher you can borrow. Lol Helen, I went to school with a Sean Lamb. And to make things worse, he actually had very blond tight curly hair. The poor kid got paid out something shocking.

merry perhaps your Lamb's are related to Stephen Fry's Lamm's. You must have enough for a flock by now. (Or maybe enough for a decent barbie in the summer. Mint sauce and rosmary anyone :-))))))))))

Merry I worked with a chap once whose surname was Lamb. When his wife was expecting, they were worried they would have a son, because her favourite boys' name was Sam and his was Sean. Luckily they had two daughters. I once knew an old lady called Pearl Button. nell

She died, poor thing, and he remarried, pdq, to widow MRS MARY TAYLOR. She was a rellie by marriage of his dead wife. A son was born, of course, called James Holden. He married - Mary Taylor, his cousin. They jhad children, some of whom were called James and Mary. This Mary Holden married her cousin - James Taylor! Anyone got a pair of scissors? Olde Crone

lol merry... I do sympathise... I have problems with the Fish in my tree ... I have David Fish, his son, another son called his son David, and his grandson all with the same name. Feel like chucking a bowl of water over them all!..lol Sue

Merry I have same problem with my Lambs too..... I have a Mary Jane Lamb, her son Marries a Mary Jane then they have a daughter and they name her ............................ Mary Jane Lamb! Chop chop!
