I found the same marriage as nell.....the Heath's are living almost nextdoor to the Dean's in 1861! I saw them on the census page before I looked for the marriage!! Update - not ''almost nextdoor'' - I meant, in the same property!! Merry |

i think the info on the 1871 census must be incorrect as it shows all of them as Heath however the 1881 it looks like she is living back with her mother and her kids?? Thanks |

Carly Presumably the 1881 Heath children are Dency's. Her mother wouldn't change her surname because her daughter got married. nell |

a) no one knows when the 1841 will come, there are rumours about Easter, but nothing definite. It's at the records offices on microfilm if you can't wait! b)Danae was a Greek nymph or something. I did think that perhaps it was a mistranscription of Fanny, but it looks like a D on the image. c) since she was born 1831 she was quite probably married by 1861. nell |

Best way is to buy the birth cert of one of the children. This will give you the mother's maiden surname and help you to trace the right marriage. Births Dec 1847 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DEAN Lewis Hackney 3 206 Merry |

You could wait until 1841 census is around, or you could order the birth cert of one of the children as it would have his name and occupation on it. nell |
