I was going to give you the birth reg for Margaret Dobson, but there are two in Q2 1859 (and none close to that otherwise - typical!!). The pages numbers are not that easy to read either. It might be best to try Gateshead Reg office rather than the GRO. if you explain who the father should be, they ought to be able to pick out the right cert. Looking at the 1861 census, the other cert for a Margaret may belong to ..............oh bother, her dad is Thomas as well!! Right, your Margaret is the dau of Thomas and Ann (possibly Cook) and there is this other Margaret the dau of Thomas and Rebecca, who was born same time frame, but in Winlaton, which also comes under Gateshead reg district!! You will have to specify both parents fornames!! What fun! Merry |

Thanks for that final bit of information Merry, which I am reading before going to work for twelve hours, so will check it through after work, coincidence, Winlation is two minutes away from where I live. Thanks once again for your help and quick replies-very happy-jennifer. |
