The Times newspaper, June 28th 1890: The Bankruptcy Act 1883 Orders Made on Application for Discharge Willoughby, Edwin Thomas, Jamaica Road, Bermondsey and Lower Deptford Road, Rotherhithe, printer. Discharge suspended for three weeks. (not that it helps find them in 1901!! LOL) Merry |

I suppose the bankruptcy order thing could be his father, but I think father was just Edwin, not Edwin Thomas. There were several other applications for receivership in the paper, going back to about 1883. (all Edwin Thomas) Nothing at all after he got married. Did Emma have a dowry???!!! LOL Merry |

Marry. That was interesting dose that mean he had his own Printing firm. His dad was also Edwin Thomas it could have been him. Diane |

Merry, I think I have seen Edwin's father as Edwin Thomas some where. As for a dowry I could not say, although all the sisters married reasonably well. Diane |

Just had a thought if it was Edwin junior who was made Bankrupt maybe he changed his name to start up a printing firm again. Diane. |
