Oh no!!!! I have been watchng the clock waiting for the 20th! Thats tomorrow! That posty of mine better have more than just a smile for me in the morning.... I ordered some more last night and they said....Despatch date 10th April. Gerri<<<the Aries with No patience!

My certificates had a dispatch date of 6/3/06 arrived yesterday-18/3/06 -still hubby says it is just as well as he actually had a cooked dinner instead of having to cook it himself!! You cant do everything at once can you!!!!! Annette

The one I ordered on 26th Feb with a dispatch date of 13th March, was posted on 17th and it arrived today.

OOHHHH, It's safe to say..... they didn't arrive TODAY!

What i also meant to have added, was it came in a big white envelope, so the cert was not folded, like some have reported on another thread. It was also for a twin, I now have to send for the death cert for one of them, cos they both had births and deaths registered in the same quarter and this twin was born on 21st Dec. What a sad time, I know this cos my husbands mother and brother died on 20th and 22nd respectively although 8 years apart.

I ordered a birth cert. on the 4th March with depatch day 20th March do hope I get it by the end of the week Margaret

Hi All Ordered 1st March est despatch 16th March, still waiting!! The two due last week were ordered together,due 10th March got one on 15th and one on 16th and both were folded. Best wishes Amanda

Hi folks, Sorry to sound dim, but how do you work out your estimated dispatch date? I ordered a few online on 15 March, but I can't see a estimated dispatch date anywhere on the confirmation. Many thanks Karen

Hi In reply to Karen's question: I ordered certs 12th March, est desp date 3rd April. If you did order online, when it says return to GRO, i save the details in a word doc, there are no dates on the payment confirmation e mail to confirm. Hope that helps a bit. Best wishes Amanda

I ordered 7 certs on 25th Feb, est despatch date 13th March. They have arrived in dribs and drabs - one last Thurs, 3 on Fri, 1 on Sat and the remaining 2 today. The 2 today arrived in A4 envs, so flat certs, but all last weeks ones arrived in std envs, so certs folded in 3. I did phone the GRO last Weds night (15th) and was advised that they were currently despatching 10th est despatch date. Gives a rough idea on current delays/expected delivery.

This is all very disappointing. I was hoping for a whole bunch this week. Guess I'd better go back to bed! Bill

Ordered 4 certs on 10 Feb despatch date 22 Feb received 3 of them week before last still waiting for the other one phoned GRO on monday 13 March,they said they will send another,still waiting. totally p***ed off Ann

I can't complain. Certificate submitted on the 25th February, despatch date 13th March and it arrived, here in Australia, 20th March. It was in an A4 envelope and when I saw it arrived I nearly fell down the front steps running to the post box. Susan P.S. Spent the next two hours blissfully searching for my 3 x greatgrandfather on Ancestry.

For info: Certificates ordered online with due dates of 17/4/06 arrived today 20/04/06, so they are not running too late. I've still got 2 of mine due to arrive so they are late, but the other 7 arrived today. Claire

Have just ordered online. Dispatch date of May 15th! The delays are getting longer, not shorter. I thought this was all going to be back to normal after Easter. Certs due on 18th haven't arrived yet either. Lizzie :-(
